There is so much going on in this picture but yet it is calming rather than chaotic. From the lighthouse and greenhouse silhouetted against the background hills to the foreground of brightly colored flowers and wind chimes it would be easy to lose the table set for a wonderful brunch, but you don’t because everything is so clear but still obviously of the same space. Fantastic photo.

The picture shows a beautiful summer evening back in Italy and the buildings are simply beautiful.

This is a wonderful example of industrial interior design. Brick, metal, glass, wood, and other reminders of the previous life of the building all combine to give to impression of chaos yet the room is thoughtfully laid out proving that the chaos is controlled.

Its very hard to chose between the photos at all, but I especially love three. I chose these because I had no idea you could get such a grungy look from EA only stuff. She really put time and effort into choosing the right wallpaper, patterns AND colors to get that corroded brick look. The pictures are dark, but you don’t feel like you are squinting to see what is happening, The splashes of color are perfect. It almost feels like a completely other game, and to do that with no CC?! Impressive.

High impact with saturated colors make this a room that stands out! Bringing the colors from that high-impact back splash into the dining room makes it room that doesn’t back down. It takes a lot of conviction to make this work… and it does. I found I couldn’t stop thinking about this room for days and days. Really!

Container living at it’s finest! Though the origin of the house is clearly visible, the overall effect is cozy and urban at the same time. The landscaping contributes to that feeling, proving that sometimes all it takes is the right decor… and Mother Nature often provides all we need.

An unusual and striking nursery all in black and white. I love how the wallpaper pattern is mimicked in that unique bookshelf, too. This nursery manages to be both sophisticated and playful.

I love the gritty minimal use of color in this picture, and how the bright window draws your eye down the hall, past the floor art to the piano.

The whole shot screams *summer in the country* for me. It is a full frontal shot which usually could mean it is boring but with the wonderful country garden landscaping and the unique design of the house the gaze is drawn to the house and right into the picture. You want to see what lies beyond the garden fence and discover the garden and the house

It shows how lovely the base game wood textures can be, and making the ceiling tiles out of wood is a unique touch for a fairy house. I like the way the twigs frame the fireplace and are different colors. It just seems EXACTLY like what a fairy house would look like.

I like this picture because of the contrast between the dark blue and white colors. The floating bubbles makes it an interesting picture.

I love how Green-Girl captured this picture. A graceful dancer, alone in her world, but outside the windows you see the bustling city.
